Oraceuticals is a Kentucky-based company that intends to identify, patent, produce, and market natural products related to anti-microbial and anti-inflammation markets in the oral health industry. Oral infections that cause dental caries have a substantial impact on the growth and development of young people. And chronic oral infections that cause periodontitis result in oral inflammation which can contribute to existing risk factors for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and preterm/low-birthweight infants. In the last 12 months, the company has identified three promising natural product targets that are currently under evaluation and development.
