Kentucky Technology

Kentucky Technology Inc., founded in 1988, is a for-profit corporation wholly owned by the University of Kentucky Research Foundation (UKRF). Len Heller, UK Vice President for Commercialization & Economic Development, is the CEO and President of KTI. Heller and the KTI Board of Directors are charged with generating revenue from ASTeCC/AgTeCC campus incubator leases, technology licenses, and equity investments, and re-investing in the commercial development of university-based technologies and technology-based businesses. Heller also directs investment in several fund of funds/FoF and participates in a regional angel network. UKCED helped develop the Bluegrass Angels and Bluegrass Angel Venture Fund.
